Our Mission Statement
The goal of our breeding program is to prove the quality of our mares by the produce of their offspring. Through research done at auctions, competions, and online web searches, we have found that the value of a horse is as much related to performance as it is to bloodlines. They go hand in hand. The sire of a foal only provides part of the equation; the other comes from the mare. To prove the quality of the mare that has been unshown, a substantial investment is required in training and showing their offspring. The more the resulting foal earns, his value increases along with the value of his dam. As his dam becomes a proven producer of foals who will win in the show ring, the more she is bred to stallions of increasing value and the more the value of the foals increase.
Quarter Horse breeding, in our opinion, has become specialized toward an end result. Whether it be a cutting horse, reined cow horse, halter horse, pleasure, or ranch horse, Quarter Horses today can be identified just by looking at its conformation and registration papers and it is known what discipline that horse is bred to do. Our goal is to build a program that produces horses of quality that will be sought after by horseman of any discipline. We would like to return the Quarter Horse to the versitility that it was originially bred for.
Through careful selection of these mares and stallions, profits will increase for future owner and breeders of these horses, and will bring our program to the top of the industry.
